My father lost both arms at 7 years old in an accident, but that never stopped him. He learned to adapt in ways that amazed everyone—writing, fishing, and even driving using only his feet. With my incredibly strong mother, Alice, by his side, he raised 11 kids and built a life filled with hard work, determination, and love.

His story shaped who I am as a person and the belief that there’s always a way forward.
