The Team Yellow Site Bites tour made a stop at Hayter's Farm where we fired up the grill and treated the crew to fresh turkey burgers — topped, of course, with turkey bacon.

We also had the chance to catch up with Lindsay Hayter and hear more about how the Hayter family has been raising turkey for generations, along with the story behind their popular new Jalapeño Cheddar Turkey Burger.

Safe to say, the crew gobbled them up.

A 10/10 across the board from Team Yellow and the MCI Design-Build Corporation crew.

Great local food. Great local farmers. Great way to feed the crew.

Hot weather can turn an ordinary workday into a serious health risk. Whether you're outdoors, in a warehouse, on a job site, or anywhere temperatures rise, heat-related illness can happen faster than many people expect.

A few reminders for all of us:
-Drink water regularly. Don't wait until you feel thirsty.
-Wear light, breathable clothing and use shade when possible.
-Take breaks and pace yourself during hotter parts of the day.
-Watch for signs of heat stress in yourself and others.

Know the warning signs of heat-related illness:
⚠️ High body temperature, hot dry skin, excessive sweating
⚠️ Headache, nausea
⚠️ Weakness, exhaustion
⚠️ Confusion, unusual fatigue
⚠️ Dizziness, fainting, seizures

One of the most important safety tools we have is each other.

Check in with your coworkers. If someone seems off, speak up. A quick conversation, a water break, or helping someone get out of the heat can make a real difference.

No task is more important than getting everyone home safely.
