FOGs Friends of the Gardens at Western University Friends of the Gardens (FOGs) is a group of volunteer gardeners at Western University, London, Ontario, Canada.

Welcome back! 🌸🙌 You’re invited to the Rock Garden, for a day of plant pulling and fall seeding/in-planting. There are multiple areas that need attention, so the more people that come, the more work we can do! 🪏

📅 Saturday, September 12th
⏰ 9 AM - 12 PM
📍 Rock Garden near FOGs community garden shed

Gloves, tools, and snacks will be provided!

🌼 Please bring water and wear weather-appropriate clothing to stay warm as the seasons change. It is the time of year when we can get multiple seasons in one day, so please make sure you are prepared. 🌼

*Closed-toed shoes are also required since we will be weeding and using tools.*

This week’s featured plant is our lavender plant, picked freshly from the pollinator garden by our wonderful FOGs members. These are mature, healthy 5-year-old plants. 🪴

They will be available during our weekly Monday plant sales:
* Mondays from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM
* Tuesday August 11th (tomorrow!) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Price: $8.00 - $9.00 per plant.

If you can’t make these dates but still want to grab one, please reach out directly to Blanca at [email protected] to arrange a pickup time.

Join FOGs for a Pollinator Garden Tour & Weeding Day 🌿🌼

There will be a guided tour of the FOGs Pollinator Garden, where you’ll learn about our native pollinator plants and the pollinators they support. After the tour, you will be able to help with light weeding and garden care. 🐝
