Starting a new project that could be of interest to others. New stereo component (remember those?) stand, stackable, configurable sections that can be custom made to fit any pieces you may have. Just waiting on the "new" stereo components so that we can custom make this one. We figure on maple for the main shelves and walnut for the legs. Stay tuned for the build and results, and there will be pricing once we get it completely done. Component stereos are starting to come back into vogue, but the stands don't have to look like they've been sitting in your living room since 1979!

A number of different hard woods going into my speaker stands. Including some hardwood from Africa for the posts (dense and unexpectedly heavy) that started out life as pallets in the bottom of a shipping container.

Eric Poe Tas. Very happy with new speaker stands.
Wires will be concealed inside the tube and come up through the back to the hook up.
I think I’m inspired to replace the tired out stands supporting my awesome Paradigm 9’s.

White oak from a really ratty looking old barn post, 100+years old. Some red oak plank for the base and some Purple Heart trim for the top platform. Voila. Speaker stands for my daughter.
