🎄 Holiday Fun at Hudson! 🎄

What an incredible morning celebrating the year with the team! We are so fortunate to have a crew that doesn't just work hard, but truly enjoys coming together to share a meal, a few laughs, and some healthy competition.

From a great team breakfast to some "highly competitive" blindfolded games (swipe to see the chaos! ➡️), today was the perfect reminder of why our culture is so special.

A huge thank you to:
* Our amazing organizers who handled everything from the delicious breakfast and training sessions to the festive games.
* Our creative team behind the stunning, customized holiday gift baskets and amazing decorations in the office.
* And everyone for taking the time to join us, support one another, and celebrate the families behind the scenes that keep us going.

The last couple of years have been a journey, and we couldn't be more grateful for the support and community we've built here at Hudson. 🧡

🍫✨ W***y Wonka energy at H.U.B.

At our latest Hudson’s Ultimate Briefing, we somehow convinced HR to approve The Great Search for the Golden Balls. Golden Ticket rules, Hudson-style: show up, grab ONE ball, flip it over, find the “X.”

Three winners walked away with massive Toblerone bars. Everyone else got laughs, holiday cheer, and a reminder that even HR agrees—Christmas fun is mandatory. 🎄🍬

Another milestone birthday at Hudson this week — the big 3-0. It’s that stage of life where you’re finding your footing, sharpening your skills, and stepping confidently into the next chapter of your career.

For the past ten years now, we’ve had fun making milestone birthdays a tradition: thoughtful decorations, great food, and a gift card to mark the moment. These little celebrations give us a chance to slow down and appreciate the people who make Hudson what it is.

Yesterday afternoon, we had to say goodbye to our Hudson mascot, Marvel. He was only four years old, a proud Chesapeake Bay Retriever, and a loyal companion who filled our days with distraction, comfort, and moments of joy—especially over these past few weeks as our team cared for him while he wasn’t feeling well.

Marvel’s passing from cancer came far too soon.
And for us at Hudson, it carries an extra weight.

Hudson Entry & Automation was named after another Chesapeake—Hudson—who passed away 18 years ago. Marvel and Hudson never met, but they shared the same spirit: adventure, loyalty, grit, and that unmistakable Chessie heart.

We’ll miss Marvel deeply.
Thank you to everyone on the Hudson team who loved him, spoiled him, and made his final weeks full of kindness.

Rest easy, buddy. You’ll always be part of the Hudson story.

This year at Hudson we decided to take a different approach to our holiday cards.
Instead of buying beautifully printed-but-forgettable cards, we hired the kids of our Hudson team to step into the spotlight as our “Junior Artists.”

They are creating Christmas cards by hand—each one a little moment of joy, effort, and imagination.

What we gained was far more than artwork:
✨ Kids earning their own holiday money
✨ Parents and kids creating memories together
✨ Customers receiving something personal and real
