This balcony project is done (just missing some post caps and adding a removable access door to the end).
It was enlarged from 5'x9' to 6'x14'. I originally thought the existing support structure would be reused but it changed to a complete demolition and new build.
Next year the sinking concrete walk will need to be removed, repoured and level.

Here's a few before, during, and after pics of a custom outdoor L shaped couch I built for a customer recently. An outdoor rug and coffee table are still needed. Also, I had no idea cushions were so expensive 😮

Here's a couple of before and afters. This room was filled with, literally, 16 tonnes of sand. A conveyor had to be rented and the sand had to be removed one shovelful at a time. Then of course the mountain of sand outside had to be dealt with. The entrance to the room, for some reason, had a 4 foot concrete wall blocking the doorway, I guess to hold in all that sand. That had to be cut and jackhammered out also, then a new concrete floor had to be poured...

I'd like to thank my loyal London clients for your patronage over the past few years but I have recently moved away from London and won't be able to serve you any longer. I wish you all well.

I like a good before and after shot.

Winter is coming (not that you'd know it with these 23° days) so its time to protect the carport from drifting snow. It won't keep all the snow out but will help, and it looks pretty good too 😀

I made a thing, it's what I do, I make things 😉

A little before and after of a U shaped raised garden with steel fencing to keep the deer out. The deer around here love nothing better than an unprotected garden... and flowers 🦌
Both rear corners have sections that open up for easier access to the hard to reach parts of the garden.

It's been a while since I've posted a before and after, so here's a project I just finished. I couldn't start it last year because of a lack of wood, and this year materials were double the cost they would have been. But it's done and the customer is happy 👍
