The Happy Painter My name is Lyndsey Huberts. I service the Listowel and surrounding area. I paint the interior of homes (walls, ceilings and trim), Vanities and some furniture.

I also paint exterior doors, pillars and sheds.

Hi, I thought I would reintroduce myself. I'm Lyndsey. I have been painting for the past 20 years almost. I have had a bit of a hard year so haven't posted much, but I am still painting everyday. I also have another job. I work in the warehouse at Ideal Supply from 4am-12pm. So I paint after that.
I live in Listowel, but have traveled as far as Collingwood, Port Elgin, Waterloo and Stratford to paint. I love painting, and I have loved working with all of you! I look forward to working with new clients.
I paint all free-hand. No tape. I was taught old school how to paint. No spraying. Been in this business for awhile. Watching trends change, Listowel grow and I have been in the paint business for almost 23 years. I used to sell Benjamin Moore paint with my Dad at Town & Country Decorating. That is probably where I met most of you and it led me to be able to come into your homes and help transform your space. Which has been a pleasure. Thank you for inviting me in.

It was a dark brown colour before though. I primed it with Stix and painted Frozen Island (sico) in Command from Benjamin Moore.
I also painted the walls, ceiling and trim in this room.

Today was one year since I lost my brother Josh. I decided to take the day and just spend it with him. I went to Hoggs Falls. While walking through the bush I had asked the sky if he was ok. I received a sign letting me know he is. I am so happy I decided to take the day for the two of us. Also decided to stop in at Neustadt Brewery for some food and a b**r. Took a couple days off this week to just take a breather and feel my feelings. It's been a good, sad, rough, exhausting year. Yet I am so thankful for all of you and helping me heal in different ways.

I got the pleasure of painting the new restaurant in town, Ennios Pasta House. It was originally white and we painted the walls Hillsborough Beige, in Aura Eggshell to warm it up a bit. They opened yesterday. If you are looking for some authentic Italian food I highly suggest you check them out.

Walls were a bright yellow. Painted Silver Satin in Regal Eggshell. Trim was painted Ultra White in Regal Pearl.
