We are incredibly proud — and even more grateful.

Thanks to the support of our customers, friends, neighbours, and the entire Kawartha Lakes community, DOT Canada has been named a Platinum Winner in FIVE categories in the 2026 CommunityVotes Kawarthas Awards:

🏆 Alarm & Security Systems
🏆 Blinds & Window Coverings
🏆 Cell Phone Services
🏆 Electronics Store
🏆 Internet Service Providers

These awards mean a lot to us because they come from the community we live in, work in, and serve every day.

To everyone who voted for DOT Canada, recommended us, trusted our team in your home or business, or simply supported us along the way — thank you.

We’re proud to be a Kawartha Lakes business, and we’ll keep working hard to earn that support every day.

Thank you, Kawartha Lakes. 💙

Today, $250 bought 109.7 litres of diesel.

For a household that relies on a diesel truck, this is brutal. For a small business, diesel often isn’t optional. It powers the trucks that get us to jobs, carries our tools and materials, and keeps deliveries moving.

When diesel costs this much, the price of almost everything else follows.
But small businesses are trapped in the middle. Our expenses continue to rise, yet we can’t simply keep raising our prices every time fuel goes up. Customers are already stretched, sales are down, and work has slowed.

Small businesses are being squeezed from both sides—and something has to give.

NEIGHBORHOOD ALERT 🚨

Security cameras are one of the most effective ways to deter unwanted activity around your home or business. Visible cameras can make potential intruders think twice, while also providing valuable recorded evidence if an incident occurs.

A professionally installed camera system can help you:

✅ Monitor your property day and night
✅ Receive alerts when activity is detected
✅ Check live video from your phone
✅ Record suspicious activity
✅ Add an extra layer of protection and peace of mind

Don’t wait until something happens to start thinking about security.

Contact DOT Canada today to learn more about a camera system designed for your property.

Come see us at 54 Lindsay St South in Lindsay!
