How do you know your water heater is about to fail? A few signs tell you before it actually happens. 🔥

1️⃣ Rusty water or a metallic smell coming from your tap
2️⃣ Popping, rumbling, or banging sounds from the tank
3️⃣ Water that won't hold its temperature the way it used to

Sediment builds up at the bottom of the tank over time, and that's usually what's behind the noise and the temperature swings.
It doesn't fix itself, it just gets louder.

If your water heater is doing any of this, it's worth having someone take a look before it fails completely. 🔧

Ever wonder what it actually looks like to flush an entire sewer line? Here's the process. 🎥

1️⃣ We run the hose the full length of the line, not just to the clog
2️⃣ High-pressure water scours grease, roots, and buildup off the pipe walls the whole way through
3️⃣ Everything gets pushed out the other end instead of just punched aside

Snaking clears a path through a blockage. Hydrojetting cleans the whole pipe, top to bottom, so it takes a lot longer for things to build back up.

This is the truck we bring out when a plunger and a snake aren't going to get it done. 🚛

1️⃣ Blasts high-pressure water straight through grease, roots, and buildup
2️⃣ Clears the whole inside of the pipe, not just a hole through the clog
3️⃣ No digging, the truck does the work from the access point

A snake can punch a hole through a blockage, but the walls of the pipe stay coated. Hydro jetting scours the line clean, so buildup takes longer to come back.

If your drains have been slow for a while, this might be the fix that actually sticks. 💧

When the ground dries out in August, tree roots don't just sit still, they go looking for water.

And your sewer line, with its steady moisture, can be the easiest target around. 🌳

Here's what to watch for:
1️⃣ Gurgling or slow-draining fixtures, even after you've cleared the obvious stuff
2️⃣ Low spots in your front yard where the ground appears to be settling on the path of your sewer line
3️⃣ Recurring backups that come back within weeks of clearing them

Root intrusion usually starts small, a hairline crack lets moisture in, which attracts more roots, which widens the crack. It's a cycle that gets more expensive the longer it runs.

A camera inspection can spot root intrusion before it turns into a full blockage. If your drains have been acting up this summer, it might be worth a look. 🔧

If you've been pouring bacon grease down the drain, it's time to stop.

Here's what actually happens:
1️⃣ Grease cools and hardens as it moves through cooler pipes
2️⃣ It sticks to the inside walls instead of washing away
3️⃣ Buildup narrows the line until drainage slows or stops completely

Hot water might push it through in the moment, but it re-hardens further down the line — the problem just moves, it doesn't go away.

Scraping grease into the trash instead of the sink is the easiest way to avoid this one. If your kitchen drain has already started running slow, we can clear it before it backs up completely. 🚰

A burst pipe is not the time to start looking for your shut-off valve.

Every homeowner should know where it is before an emergency happens.

That one piece of knowledge can help minimize water damage and give you valuable time when every second counts.

A slow drain is usually a warning sign, not the problem itself.

Many homeowners assume a slow drain just needs a quick fix, but the real issue could be deeper in the line.

The sooner you find the cause, the easier it is to prevent a major backup.
