The old curtain was worn and due for an upgrade, so our crew removed the existing system and installed a new curtain for a cleaner, more functional setup. A good example of how proper maintenance and retrofit work can improve an existing facility without major disruption.

Energy efficiency is a major focus at Nature Fresh Farms , where our crew is installing a second curtain system across Phases 6, 7, and 8, covering 90 acres of greenhouse.
Combining Van Der Valk screen systems, Svensson energy screen, and Ridder motors, the system will help reduce energy loss and improve climate control. Paired with the existing light abatement screen, it also provides more flexibility to take advantage of natural light.
With 90 acres to cover, our crew is making steady progress alongside our partners at SEF.
A great example of how the right retrofit can improve the efficiency and performance of an existing greenhouse.

Progress continues at Pelee Acres. One half of the greenhouse is now fully glazed, while the other half is well underway with structure installation and getting ready for glazing.
It’s great to see both sides of the project moving forward and the crews continuing to put in the work to keep things on track. We’re proud to be completing this project through SEF, working together to bring the build from structure to completion.
