We have to whole heartedly agree the idea of the beautification of our town is awesome, much needed and will look great for years to come.
Recently, a major project as described “working behind the scenes “ was revealed in our town, (34 trees organized and purchased by Happyland Thrift Shop, and apparently a committee from the town has ordered trees for the Leader Cemetery, which we still do not know the particulars on that project)
We want to inform our community that our business of 38 years, Busy Bee Greenhouse, was not given the chance to be a part of or had the opportunity to submit a quote. We just want to clarify this, as we have several of our customers come in and assume that we were the providers. It breaks our hearts and is hurtful when projects bypass local expertise especially when it is right in their backyard. We could and would have been more than happy to make sure something worked within their budgets and had them delivered to the front door step, alleviating the need to have to travel to haul them back.
We have always donated and contributed where we could and try to promote the “Shop & Support Local”.
Despite this hurdle, we are still here, still local and ready to serve for a few more Short Years.
Thank you to the ones that Shop Local and have faithfully supported us from Near and Far to make this business possible in our small community. ♥️
