Coastal Irrigation Inc. is seeking an honest, experienced, and motivated individual to join our friendly team of professionals in the role of Irrigation Service Technician. We have had a loyal customer portfolio since 1988 and aspire in providing the highest level of service & professionalism.
The primary function in the role is to maintain existing irrigation systems to a high standard by assessing, troubleshooting, repairing, and providing proactive recommendations to improve system performance. This position is perfect for someone who has a strong knowledge of irrigation maintenance, installations, and has a passion for working outdoors.
Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Start-up and programming of irrigation systems
Assessing system functionality
System repairs
Installation of new zones, zone extensions etc.
Winterizing irrigation system
Maintaining a work vehicle, stocking parts
Ensure safe work practices
Selection Criteria:
Industry accreditation (preferred): Certified Irrigation Technician, Backflow Assembly Tester Certification
Practical experience and knowledge in servicing and installing irrigation systems
Valid Class 5 drivers license
Cellphone required for communication
Regular hours are Monday to Friday (8:00am - 4:00pm) with seasonal opportunities for overtime.
Hourly salary is based on experience.
