Some toilet clogs have big dreams… they just refuse to move on.
I was called to a local business this week where a toilet had completely plugged up. The plunger gave it its best shot, but this clog wasn’t interested in cooperating. Time to bring out the drain snake.
A professional drain snake can reach and break up blockages that a plunger simply can’t touch. While a plunger works by creating pressure, a snake physically clears the obstruction farther down the drain.
A few tips to help prevent stubborn clogs:
Only flush toilet paper. “Flushable” wipes usually aren’t as flushable as the package claims.
Paper towels, hygiene products, and excessive amounts of toilet paper belong in the garbage.
If the toilet is draining slowly, don’t keep flushing. That often turns a small problem into a messy one.
The blockage was cleared, the toilet was back in service, and the business was up and running again.
If your toilet is giving you trouble, don’t let a small clog become a big cleanup.
