Meet Allyn Foster, Foreman with Hall Shoring & Foundations.

Congratulations to Allyn on his recent promotion to Foreman.

Allyn first joined Hall in 2024 as a labourer before progressing into equipment operation. After returning to Hall Shoring & Foundations as a Lead Hand in 2025, he quickly demonstrated the leadership, work ethic, and field experience that led to his appointment as Foreman.

With a background that includes carpentry, plumbing, and eight years working in cast-in-place piling, Allyn brings a diverse skillset and practical knowledge to every project.

Outside of work, Allyn enjoys spending time with his partner Holly and their four children, whether that's catching a movie or heading out for a family meal. One thing his coworkers may not know? He's also the proud owner of 88 houseplants and spent the first 23 years of his life in Nanaimo, BC.

Last week Hall was proud to attend ICBA Meet the Generals & Owners 2026 with our team on site connecting with industry partners, clients, and professionals from across the construction community.

With more than 2,500 industry professionals in attendance throughout the event, it was a great opportunity to build relationships, share ideas, and have meaningful conversations about the projects and people shaping our industry.

Thank you to ICBA for bringing together such a strong turnout and creating opportunities for connection across the construction sector. We appreciate being part of it and look forward to continuing the conversation.

Experience, persistence, and a commitment to doing things right.

We’re pleased to announce the promotion of Sherry McMullen to Health and Safety Manager for Hall Constructors.

Sherry has been a key contributor across the business — supporting multiple divisions, strengthening safety programs, and helping teams both in the field and in the office maintain high standards of safety and compliance.

Her path to this role reflects a broad and varied career, from co-owning a safety consulting business in Nova Scotia to rebuilding her career after moving west, and continuing to grow within Hall over the past several years.

In her new role, Sherry will oversee the continued implementation and improvement of our OHSMS Program, support field operations, contribute to COR certification, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and company standards.
