🎉 10 YEARS! 🎉

Today marks 10 years since I incorporated my company! ⚡️

On September 12, 2016, it started out as a numbered company and in 2017, it officially became Power Up Electrical Services Ltd.

What started as a dream has grown into a business I am incredibly proud of. I truly love what I do. Especially helping customers, solving problems, and building relationships with the amazing people who trust me with their homes and offices.

I’m also so grateful to have an amazing employee Sam as we continue to grow. I’m excited to see what the next 10 years bring and to keep building Power Up into something even better.

Thank you to every customer, contractor, friend, family member, and supporter who has been part of this journey. Your support has meant more than you know.

A special shout out to my man Ryan Stormoen, who has been my biggest supporter. ❤️

⚡️ A quick electrical safety reminder!

This receptacle needed replacing after it overheated and partially melted. It was wired using the stab-in connections on the back, which can sometimes become a problem over time.

This is not something that happens frequently, so no need to panic! But it’s a good idea to occasionally take a quick look at the receptacles around your home.

👀 Watch for:
• Black or charred marks
• Discolouration or melted plastic
• Unusual warmth
• Buzzing, crackling or sparking

If something doesn’t look right, have us take a look. Sometimes a quick visual check can catch a problem before it becomes a bigger one! ⚡

I am so grateful and honored to be voted Best Electrician in Red Deer 2026 again!!

Nearing the end of its 10th year in business, I am beyond thrilled to have come so far. Starting a business has been one of the scariest things I have done in my life and I am so glad I made that leap!

The incredible people I have met and have been able to help with their electrical has been so rewarding. The friendships, business partners, referral contacts and amazing employees have been a huge part of the success.

To top it all off winning awards like these make the “tough days” worth it.

To my growing customer base, friends and family that have supported Power Up along the way, I am forever grateful!

A day of empowerment, inspiration, and enlightening conversations at the Junior Achievement World of Choices event! I had the incredible opportunity to connect with high school students eager to explore the vast landscape of career possibilities that has to offer!

I got to promote the awesome trade of being an electrician and encourage youngsters the benefits of the trades!
