120 Years of Quality, Integrity and Service
Since 1906, Nelco Mechanical has been providing trusted mechanical solutions to businesses, property owners, and facilities throughout our province and beyond.
In 1906, Willian Knell began in downtown Kitchener with a humble plumbing, heating, hardware, retail and wholesale business, expanding in 1941 with a sheet metal department along with more family members joining in the ownership team. This team moved in 1957 to its current location. In 1971, the air conditioning department was formed and in 1977 electrical. Through it all, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to quality workmanship, reliable service, and building long-term relationships with our clients.
Reaching 120 years in business is more than a milestone—it's a reflection of the generations of skilled tradespeople, dedicated employees, loyal customers, and trusted partners who have helped shape our journey. Past and present.
As we look to the future, we remain focused on delivering innovative HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical solutions while maintaining the values that have guided us for more than a century.
Thank you to our employees, clients, and partners for being part of our story. We are proud of our history and excited for what is to come.
120 years strong. Still growing. Still serving. Still delivering our commitment to quality, integrity, & service.
