Great company to work with!
One of the most common questions I heard working in wholesale for years was this:
"Do you know what colour shingles these are?"
Usually it was a homeowner or a contractor who had bought an existing house.
Now they wanted to:
⢠Build a shed
⢠Add a garage
⢠Do an addition
⢠Repair part of the roof or siding
And the problem was simpleâŚ
Nobody knew what materials were originally used.
No shingle brand.
No colour name.
No siding information.
So people would show up at the counter with a piece of shingle in their hand or a picture on their phone trying to match something that might be 10â15 years old.
Sometimes the colour was discontinued.
Sometimes the brand wasnât even sold anymore.
And what should have been a simple repair turns into a guessing game.

Fill it out once.
And keep it somewhere easy to find like:

⢠In the furnace room
⢠In the garage
⢠In the utility room
Write down things like:
â Roofing brand and colour
â Contractors you've used
â Service companies
Years from now when something needs fixing, you wonât be guessing, or the next homeowner will know who did what in your home.
