Our team had an awesome day volunteering with Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region! It was a great opportunity to work together outside the usual setting and help support an amazing cause.

We’re proud to give back to the communities where we live and work, and we really enjoyed being part of such meaningful work.

Chinguacousy Park: This project in the park included the construction of a new 17,000 sq.ft. ski chalet.This chalet is a 2-storey, fully accessible building featuring a 75 seat auditorium, a lounge with views of the ski hill, meeting room, boardroom, and extensive viewing decks 👀.

The Boardwalk Shopping Plaza: The fashion village was the latest addition to the Boardwalk shopping plaza 🛍.

This group of three, multi-unit, commercial buildings were erected concurrently to minimize supervision costs while maximizing efficiency.

Woodstock East Recreational Complex: This project was substantially completed in the fall of 2016 and included the construction of three high end baseball fields and a 3,280 square foot concession/washroom building ⚾️.

Associated works included the construction of storm sewers, electrical servicing, sportsfield lighting, chain-link fencing, asphalt pathways with lighting, irrigation and landscaping 🌱.

Matrix Solutions Inc: This 16,232 sq ft office fit-out in Guelph allowed Matrix to continue to grow and expand their services in Eastern Canada. The updated office encourages a collaborative work environment, enabling them to support their clients better 📈

The work within the existing plaza unit included demolition, new interior office partitions, floor, wall & ceiling finishes, millwork, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems ⚡️

Breslau Public School: This project included interior alterations to the school’s library and adjacent spaces which included demolition of existing walls and interior finishes, installation of new finishes, updated mechanical and electrical systems, and new millwork items 🔧.

Living Arts Center Mississauga, Ontario The exterior site work and landscape surrounding Mississauga’s Living Arts Centre, across the street from Mississauga City Hall, included a vast range of construction materials and details 🌳.

The centerpiece of this project is a water fountain/reflecting pool with dozens of individually programmed water-jet columns. Across the site, architectural elements were constructed using self-weathering steel, fir and cedar timbers, dimensioned natural stone, boulders and decorative architectural concrete 🪨.

The site is furnished with irrigation, lighting and extensive plantings 💧.

Maple Library & Community Centre - The Maple Community Centre is the largest community centre owned by the City of Vaughan 🇨🇦.

The two storey building is a full-service community centre, complete with public library, a pool, arena/ice rink, fitness areas, gymnasium, bocce courts, activity rooms, game rooms and a bowling alley 🎳.

In order to provide greater accessibility and flexibility to the space, the existing library, has been completely renovated and reduced in its size to accomodate new recreation activity spaces consisting of activity rooms, a kitchenette and a storage area 🗃️.

Fairwinds Park, Mississauga: This passive recreational park space involved the construction of the following:

💧Custom water themed natural playground including a lighthouse, boat, whale and puffins.
🏃‍♀️Fitness Trail with a variety of both traditional and parkour style fitness stations.
🎾 Tennis / Pickleball Courts – complete with perimeter fencing and acrylic painted surface.
🏀 Full size basketball court complete with acrylic painted surface.
🚶A large, flexible, open lawn space with a perimeter walking loop.
