Here is a tip: Retrofitting with Spray Foam under the floor joists (in the crawlspace).

There’s a common misconception that you can't apply foam in high heat 🧪🔥

Actually, summer conditions are excellent for curing closed-cell foam, if you know what you're doing.

At Golden Gate, we monitor ambient temperature, humidity, and substrate heat levels. We adjust our equipment settings and chemical mix to ensure perfect adhesion and yield, even in the middle of a July heatwave.

A common mistake on site is thinking a thicker wall automatically means a warmer building. It doesn't!

If you’re still relying on traditional insulation, you’re missing the air infiltration, one of the biggest sources of energy loss. You can stack batts until the wall is a foot thick, but if air is moving through the cavity, that R-value on the package doesn't mean much.

Spray foam is the fix. It's about R-Value per inch. Period.
