Pete was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and business owner. He's well known for being the owner/ operator of Ruthven Roofing, and a co-owner of Solid Rock Homes along with his wife Nancy and son Adam. We will miss him more than we could possibly put into words! His legacy of faith, hardwork and dedication to family will live on. We will continue striving to build homes with integrity and quality craftsmanship to make him proud.

If you've been following us for a while or know us personally, you know we started way back in 2002 with a roofing company. 🏠⚒️👷🏽 Roofs are a home's primary defense against the weather and it's crucial they're done correctly. We never cut corners or use subpar materials on our roofs and we never would on the homes we build either! That said, if you ever need recommendations for roofing contractors, we are happy to help! 😉

One question we are always asked by prospective clients is how long it will take to build their house. The truth is, it can depend on many factors. However, from shovel in the ground to keys in hand, a build typically takes 5-6 months. 🏠✨🗓️

It can be shorter for uncomplicated builds, or longer for large/ complex homes or if weather or material shortages cause delays. We always work as diligently as we can to get the home ready quickly for our clients as we know waiting on your dream is not easy!

We completed this build just before Christmas but somehow never shared the final exterior photos! 😅🏠⚒️
