✨ Elevated Cottage Views

For this project, we brought together the timeless beauty of Marvin Ultimate clad-wood windows and doors, with a mix of fixed, shaped transom, double-hung windows and French inswing doors.

Thoughtfully designed by Michael Preston to complement the cottage’s character while bringing in natural light and beautiful views. 🏡

Project Scope:
Design and construction of a custom, modern farmhouse in the Kingston countryside.

Products Supplied:
The Window Centre supplied all interior doors, windows and exterior doors.

Architectural Style & Key Design Goals:
The homeowners envisioned a modern farmhouse that would complement—not compete with—the natural beauty of the property. Preserving the mature trees, embracing the existing landscape, and capturing panoramic views were fundamental to the design.
Windows played a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life. Large expanses of carefully placed glazing were used to frame the surrounding scenery, flood the interior with natural light, and create uninterrupted connections to the outdoors. The result is a home where every space feels immersed in nature, with spectacular views serving as a defining feature of the living experience.
