What an incredible weekend at the Kingston Home Builders Association Showcase of Model Homes! 🎉

We were thrilled to welcome so many visitors to our Brighton and Markham Model Homes—it was fantastic to see families, future homeowners, and community members out exploring, asking questions, and enjoying everything the event had to offer.

From the tours and conversations to the votes on future elevations (thank you for your input!) and the excitement around contests, giveaways, and event-exclusive opportunities—this weekend was a great success because of you.

New rebate programs from both the Federal and Ontario governments are helping reduce the cost of new homes, making it easier than ever to buy new.

The Federal GST Rebate for First-Time Homebuyers is now in effect, offering up to $50,000 in savings on eligible new homes.

In addition, the Ontario Government has announced plans to expand HST rebates in partnership with the Federal Government, broadening potential savings beyond just first-time buyers.
Combined, these programs could deliver total savings of up to $130,000 on a new home.

Canada’s new government is eliminating the Goods and Services Tax (GST) for first-time home buyers on new homes up to $1 million and reducing the GST for first-time home buyers on new homes between $1 million and $1.5 million.

This tax cut will save Canadians up to $50,000—allowing more young people and families to enter the housing market and making home ownership a reality for more Canadians.
