Between the recent snowstorms we’ve been working on estimates for 2026 projects, as discussed during property visits last fall. If you received an estimate in December or January and haven’t responded yet, we kindly ask that you confirm your spot via email or private message soon to secure your spot. We are still working on some estimates, so if you haven’t seen yours yet please don’t worry - it’s been snowing a lot!! 🥶

The final results are in!

🌸 SPLIT DECISION ON GROUNDHOG DAY ❄️

The results are in from Canada’s major furry prognosticators, plus one crustacean, and there is a clear divide between the regions. The forecasters from the Prairies are predicting a longer winter, while the rest are calling for an early spring.

Final Groundhog Day Results:
❄️ Winter Stays: Manitoba Merv, Balzac Billy
🌸 Early Spring: Shubenacadie Sam, Lucy the Lobster, Fred la Marmotte, Wiarton Willie

This is our annual reminder: Even though it’s not spring quite yet this is the perfect time to plan your outdoor work. Whether you need a new roof, yard work, windows, driveway work, carpentry, painting, eaves etc - this is the perfect time of year to call these contractors and start to get estimates, or to simply just get on their lists for followup in the spring 😃

Butorajac Garden Maintenance is looking forward to the upcoming gardening season and we are looking to fill multiple positions on our staff for Landscape labourers.

Positions are full time seasonal from early April to Nov/December - 45-50 hrs per week. No Sundays. We are willing to consider part time positions as well.

We provide many different garden maintenance services, from raking, to shrub trimming, to weeding, laying mulch, planting etc so applicants must be physically fit and demonstrate a good work ethic while being a team player. Must be reliable and willing to work outside as position is 100% outdoors. No experience necessary (we are willing to train). Please forward applications or any questions to:
