Its Hops harvest time! I think we got more than we need! Nice farmer tan Mr. Greenman! If anyone needs some fresh hops for whatever use let me know! We are going to make Hops Syrup for night time tea as a sleep aid, it has a refreshing mild citrus flavor. I heard people make beer with it too...

Harvesting Wild Oats. I had a very healthy and robust Oats patch this year. If you want your own milky oat tops and oat straw next year, I will have the seed! I freeze dried a whole bunch earlier this season. Incredible medicinal value.

I love growing Amaranth here at WyrdWood Acres! This year Im trying this Elephant Head Amaranth for seed and food! They are supposed go have 50,000 seeds per plant! They also look amazing! Its one of the easiest grains to clean which is a big issue for small urban farmers. I will have lots to share for growers next season! Amaranth is slightly lower on the nutrient scale as Quinoa, gluten free but also wayyyy easier to harvest and clean than Quinoa. Which for me is a win win!
