In October 1992, R&S Glass Shop opened for business in Prescott providing auto glass services to auto dealers, local customers and the insurance industry. 1994, R&S Glass shop expanded to it's current location in Kemptville. This allowed for the addition of a full line of auto accessories and trailers.

2002 saw the sale of R&S Glass shop in Prescott to allow for a full service shop in Wincheste

r. In 2004, R&S Glass shop, Kemptville Division, branched out to allow for home renovations in addition to window and door replacements.

2011, R&S Glass has officially changed it's name to krisalis Inc. and is still owned and operated by Rob McNamara.

Screens go through a lot over the summer and by now, it shows. A torn screen isn’t just a bug problem, but rather dust and pollen sneak in too every time you open the window💨

If it’s just a small tear a repair usually does the job. If it’s a larger tear, replacing is the better call

If you’ve ever admired how clean a shower or railing cut looks, there’s a good chance Denys had something to do with it! He’s our glazier and shower specialist⚒️ And after 4.5 years with KrisAlis, cutting glass to a perfect fit it’s just what he does🙌

Outside of work, he trades glass for speed. If he could instantly master one skill, it would be NASCAR driving. He’s actually already driven one at Disney World so the fascination is real🏁

He’s also a Chevy guy at heart, though his dream car is a Dodge charger (yes, exactly like the one from Fast and Furious) 🚘

Got a chip in your windshield? Here’s the quick rule:

Smaller than a loonie and away from the edge is usually a quick repair. Sometimes it only takes 30 minutes!

Bigger than a loonie, a crack running to the edge or sitting in your line of sight? That one probably needs a full replacement

Either way, don’t wait on it. A small chip can turn into a bad crack overnight, especially with the cold weather coming🍂
