The same room, yet it feels sooo much bigger.

This was a fun yet challenging bathroom transformation in a condo building.

We weren’t able to move the drain position in the slab, so had to build a custom pan to accommodate the increased size. It worked out really well with a fantastic looking grate up against the wall.

As well as the extra light and ceiling height, we generated enough space for a corner bench, which along with double grab bars, makes this a stylish yet accessible new shower.

Our clients had a vision - keep the cabinets they really like, but take the countertop and backsplash to the next level!

A little look back at another full width niche. A narrow shower perhaps…but made that much more luxurious and spacious by providing ample storage…in a stylish way. 😎👍

What a vision, what a project!

An old home with a bathroom that would hopefully have made the original builders proud.

Words can only describe so much, so I’ll leave you more pictures instead. ☺️

(Although I will say that the bathroom floor AND shower pan have underfloor heat 🤗)

But I do need to give a shoutout to our team, who helped this project come to life:

Plumbing: with Dylan Paterson, who not only cares about the “wet” part of plumbing, but very much about the importance of venting as well.

Electrical: Jason Ault from Grounded Electrical Contractors, who places boxes and fixtures where they need to go, and ensures my underfloor heat cables have the dedicated circuit they need.

Glass will be installed after the fact, at which point we’ll be giving you a further update.
