A community favourite, reimagined for future generations.🍎💦

As part of Parkworks’ redevelopment of Swalwell Park, Waterplay helped revitalize the existing Tretheway Splash Pad into a vibrant aquatic play destination that celebrates the District of Lake Country’s unique identity and gives families even more reasons to gather, play, and stay awhile.

Beloved features like the Big Apple and Water Tower were refreshed while new splash pad elements were incorporated into the reimagined space, blending familiar local character with fresh opportunities for fun, exploration, and discovery.

Inspired by the region's rich agricultural heritage, the splash pad does more than help families cool off. It creates a sense of place, strengthens community connection, and turns summer afternoons into the kinds of memories that keep people coming back year after year.

When a splash pad is rooted in the place around it, every spray, splash, and summer memory feels a little more special. ☀️
