Metal Structure Concepts

Metal Structure Concepts Supplies & installs pre-engineered steel buildings, ranging from 1,000 sq.ft. to 200,000 sq.ft., anywhere in BC, AB, SK and Northern Canada.

Since its inception in 2002, MSC has become renowned for an unequalled level of value-added service in the pre-engineered steel building industry across Western Canada and beyond. A talented team of in-house designers that create innovative plans to suit any industry or building application, combined with our very own, highly trained field workers that carry out the installation to rigorous standa

rds, guarantees a finished product that looks, performs and lasts exactly as intended. Heading the operation is company founder, Steve Ivanitz, a third-generation steel building expert whose father, Jim, and grandfather, Sam, started the family legacy in Saskatchewan in the 1960s. Backed by a devoted office staff, Steve oversees MSC’s projects to ensure there is constant collaboration between designers, managers, work crews and you. Where many competing companies simply sell pre-engineered steel building kits, MSC offers the complete package. With a proven track record and hundreds of buildings across Western Canada, we’re with you every step of the way, from design to installation. That level of service, combined with our quality craftsmanship, is what sets us apart, and it’s what our clients have come to expect. From constructing a warehousing complex in Nunavut, to the 144-foot clear span facility for Kicking Horse Coffee in Invermere, to the numerous self-storage compounds across BC, MSC can handle any job in Western Canada.

The frame is filling in. Bays are taking shape. And the Okanagan College Recreation and Wellness Centre is starting to look like a building.

Track-level framing is in, the critical elevation on this job, and it landed clean. This is where the conventional steel and pre-engineered zones meet, and that interface has to be airtight. It was.

Steel is moving toward closeout, and every scope we touch leaves the next trade with a clean start. Two videos still to come. You won't want to miss the finish.

Not every steel building quote covers what you think it does.

Before you commit in Alberta or Saskatchewan, make sure you know exactly what's included and who's accountable from start to finish.

There's a big difference between a supplier who drops off materials and a team that manages your project from engineering to er****on.

At MSC, we specialize in design-to-install commercial and industrial steel buildings across Alberta and Saskatchewan, and we'll tell you exactly what's included before you sign anything.

Built for the coast. Designed to last where most buildings won't.

New project spotlight: Our washpad building for GCT Deltaport in Delta, BC. 2,800 sq. ft. of fully galvanized steel built to take on salt air, constant moisture, and the daily demands of a working port.

When the environment is this unforgiving, the right materials aren't optional.

Every season you store in the wrong building, you pay for it in spoilage.

Western Canadian farms face temperature swings, humidity, and harvest volumes that generic storage was never designed to handle.

A climate-controlled steel building engineered for your operation keeps more of your crop protected and more of your product making it to market.
