Planning, sketching, redesigning and dreaming. We’ve been working toward transforming this auction home into a 4-plex. Mullens Group is helping us bring this concept to plan.

Each unit will have 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, backyards and ample storage. The units range from 1770 sf to over 1900 sf plus a single car garage. Middle units include a loft.

Asbestos abatement starts soon as we get started with our first Aspen Point Townhomes.

Chris bought this house off an action site…completely site unseen. Once we got inside, we discovered some foundation issues that weren’t noticeable in the listing photos.

Every home has a story and we are brainstorming the next chapter for this one.

The Site Unseen, 60’s Built Auction House Update…

20 years of building homes and we’ve never put a bid on an online auction for a house. Excitement? Learning curve? Anxiety? All the things wrapped up in one.

What we’ve learned thanks to our 18+ year relationship with our amazing Realtor . Just because you win the bid on an online auction doesn’t mean you necessarily “win” the house. Thats step 1. Step 2 is a court date.

The auction house goes to court on Wednesday at 10am, and until that gavel drops, someone can still outbid us. A learning curve.

So here we are... somewhere between excited, nervous, and already imagining the possibilities.
If we get it:

• Do we renovate it?
• Sell it?
• Tear it down and build a 4-plex?
• Keep it as an investment?

One thing we do know - we love the vision, the challenge, and the opportunity to create something special.

Real estate definitely isn’t for the faint of heart. Stay tuned... Wednesday could change everything.

Mid-hike, with a friend………I get a phonecall from Chris:

He didn’t forget milk.
He didn’t miss a meeting.

He bought a house. 🏡
On an online auction.
Sight unseen.

Let’s just say... she’s going to need a little love (and by love I mean... everything).

Been a few years since we’ve done a renovation but I can see the potential.
