These two yew hedges are trimmed today.
A couple years ago these hedges were struggling with dying branches. With some extra care they are recovering nicely!

This message below is from the city of Kelowna.

For automated irrigation systems, this means that irrigation is permitted between 12am and 6am for even number homes and strata complexes on Wednesdays and Sundays, and odd numbered can irrigate Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Any irrigating outside of those days and times requires a Water Restrictions Exemption and may require an assessment to set out the exemption parameters.

Making these adjustments is a priority. With the lake dropping daily, no effective rainfall in sight and firefighting priorities, we all need to follow the restrictions.
