Fiberglass Insulation — A Fun Fact

Fiberglass insulation was invented unexpectedly 🧪 during an experiment in the early 1930s. Glass researcher Dale Kleist was working with molten glass and high-pressure air 💨 when fine glass fibers formed by accident.

Those lightweight fibers eventually became what we now know as fiberglass insulation — a material widely used in homes and buildings today. Its ability to trap air between the fibers makes it effective at slowing heat transfer and improving comfort 🏠.
