Civil works is underway on one of our newest projects up in Taylor BC. Construction for a new Wastewater Treatment Plant Solids Dewatering facility will consist of a screw pile-supported masonry block building that will house a new dewatering centrifuge and all related appurtenances complete with tie-ins to existing infrastructure including an overbuild manhole and tie-in to an existing sludge holding tank.

Carver was selected as the Preferred Proponent to construct the replacement reservoir for the City of Enderby in November 2024. We worked with the Client and Engineer over the winter months to bring the reservoir within the city’s budget. The project team consisting of ourselves, the consulting engineer and local subcontractors collaborated extensively to come up with cost saving ideas through alternative materials and revised project designs to arrive at a credit value acceptable to the Client and allow the project to proceed.
Demolition of the existing reservoir started in March and the base slab for the new reservoir was completed at the beginning of this month (May).

Here is the Carver team that participated in the Wilson M Wilson M. Beck Insurance (Kelowna) Charity Golf Tournament in July. 🏌️⛳️

All proceeds raised at the WMB tournament go towards funding the YMCA’s financial assistance program. These funds ensure the growing number of local low income families can access Y programs focused on child care, water safety, mental health supports, sports, camps, and recreation, that they couldn’t afford otherwise.

Update on the Larkin Reservoir in Spallumcheen:
The rock has been removed and we have poured the base slab for the reservoir.

This month Carver mobilized to site in Spallumcheen after being chosen as the Preferred Proponent to construct the Larkin Reservoir for the Township. We are excited to work with Urban Systems again and provide the Township of Spallumcheen with a new reservoir.

Carver was awarded Pretty Road Improvements in Lake Country through the RFP process. We kicked off the job back in March and look forward to having a successful project with the District and WSP.
