A finished look at the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Inspiration Centre renovation!

​The building now features a glass entry pavilion. Among the other renovations was the installation of solar panels to power the building’s utilities. There’s also a new green roof, and several areas that have been upgraded.

The ThompsonOkanaganTourismCentre now includes a covered patio with views of Okanagan Lake, an accessible walkway garden with Indigenous and native plantings, and design elements that pay tribute to the people who have shaped the region.

Meet Orrin Farzana, one of our Civil Engineering Co-op Students!

At TKI, we’re proud to partner with UBC Okanagan Co-op Program to provide students with meaningful, hands-on experience through eight-month work placements.

Our co-op students are valued members of the team, contributing to real projects while developing the skills and confidence needed to launch their careers.

As Orrin wraps up her eight-month placement with TKI and prepares to return to UBCO for the final year of her Civil Engineering degree, we’re celebrating the impact she’s made and the experience she’s gained along the way!

Today our team had the opportunity to tour the expansion and celebrate another successful project delivered by our incredible team. A community driven project that we are very proud to be apart of.

Taking the time to celebrate everyone’s hard work and recognize the contributions of those who helped bring this project to life! ✨ Stay tuned for final photos coming soon!

This expansion adds 10 new rooms to the existing 20 suites, creating even more space for families to stay close to their loved ones during some of life’s most challenging times.
