What is shotcrete?

Shotcrete is concrete that’s pneumatically projected at high velocity onto a surface — typically vertical or overhead. The force of application compacts the material, creating a tight, durable bond with the substrate. Because it can be placed without traditional formwork, it’s ideal for complex shapes, tight access, and efficient installations.

It can be applied two ways:

• Wet-mix – water is added before the material enters the hose.
• Dry-mix – water is introduced at the nozzle during application.

From new construction to rehabilitation, shotcrete delivers strength, speed, and versatility where conventional cast-in-place methods can’t compete.

T&A has ACI certified nozzleman who are experienced and ready to tackle the most difficult projects!
