Today we honour Red Dress Day, the National Day of Remembrance and Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirited People (MMIWG2S+).

Across Canada, red dresses are displayed as stark reminders of lives stolen, families left searching, and communities forever changed.

At Meraki, we don’t look away. We wear red, we listen, and we keep learning because reconciliation isn’t a single day. It’s part of how we show up, every day, for the people and communities around us.

An important part of our all hands meeting was hearing from David Clifton, Meraki Resources' Indigenous Relationships Manager, who spoke to the role of Indigenous partnerships in the work we do.

We heard from two key industry partners: Justin with WorkSafeBC on traffic control regulations, and April from ATS Traffic sharing important updates and expectations for crews working in and around active roadways.
