Today, we’re incredibly proud to announce our partnership as an Official Partner of the 2026 Memorial Cup in Kelowna.

The countdown is officially on for the 2026 Memorial Cup, taking place May 21 – May 31, 2026, at Prospera Place in Kelowna. The tournament will bring together the best junior hockey teams in Canada and showcase our city on the national stage.

For more than 50 years, Chaparral Industries has proudly built in Kelowna — supporting communities, businesses and home owners across Western Canada through locally manufactured modular construction.

Chaparral designed and manufactured three custom modular dressing room facilities that will house the visiting championship teams during the tournament at Prospera Place. Each facility was built locally in Kelowna and includes professional-grade player stalls, physical therapy rooms, coaches office, equipment room, accessible washrooms and showers.

What makes this project especially meaningful is the legacy these buildings will leave behind. Following the Memorial Cup, the dressing rooms will continue serving the community through local sports and recreation facilities across Kelowna for years to come.

“They let me customize it,” Jim said of working with Chaparral. “They gave me the parameters for modular home design, and then we worked together to make it happen.”

By staggering two sixty-foot modular units, the home achieves a longer, more expansive footprint. Foundation walls were constructed so the modules could be set within them—creating a true walk-out feel rather than a step-down. Ten-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows complete the design.

This level of collaboration, detail and customization is what modular should look like.
