As the summer heat really sets in, nearly every hot tub suffers from “heat creep” - where the ambient (outdoor) temperature overdrives the desired water temperature of your hot tub.
“Full foam” hot tubs particularly struggle, with no way to shed this accumulating excess heat - the owner is left to drain water and replace with cooler source water, or throw ice in, just to keep the spa usable.
