The Ponderosa Spinners, Weavers and Fibre Artists Guild was started in 1973 and has grown over the years. Our Mandate is to:

Exchange information and ideas
Promote excellence in spinning, weaving and fibre art in all its forms

Like the Tea Towels, the available inventory of knitting, wet felting, needle felting, crocheting, natural fibre sculptures, spinning, dying, and other Artisan pieces, including the Guest Artists are mostly "one of a kind" pieces.
Come early to pick from the available inventory before they are all snatched up.

Fall is truly here. We hope your Thanksgiving was filled with things that bring you joy and fill your heart.
Guild members are busy felting, weaving, spinning and creating bringing their very best to you at our Annual Artisan Sale.
This little shawlette was just finished. This is perfect over a top with a pair of jeans or over a dress for added warmth. I think it is perfect for after yoga to just keep you cozy on the way home.

We would like to share photos from the Colour and Weave Workshop that was held yesterday in the Guild Studio in the RCA.
These inexperienced weavers did an amazing job catching on quickly to threading from a draft and weaving the sequence needed to create the visually interesting effects of the weave pattern.

We have spots available for this inspired by autumn, harvest, and Halloween workshop. Learn a new artful, handmade technique by wet-felting a pumpkin. Each cantaloupe sized three-dimensional vessel will be made with wool by using a resist, soap, and warm water. This technique will help you form the stem as well as the hollow form of the pumpkin.
All ages welcome, children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult. Beginner or intermediate felters welcome.
