PRO TIP: fight the urge to clean up your garden beds this weekend!

Another cold snap is expected next week so if your perennials are behaving similar to mine and starting to poke their initial tips through the soil or fall mulch, BE SURE to loosely mound more mulch or leaves overtop of them before Tuesday for protection until next weekend or when the cold weather breaks.

Otherwise they could be seriously frostbitten or have stunted growth for this season.
