Wildfires continue to impact communities across British Columbia including many of the places where our employees live, our teams work and Emil Anderson Group has longstanding connections.

Through EA Cares, EAG has established a dedicated Wildfire Relief Committee to help identify where support is needed and coordinate how our organization can help.

We know support can take many forms. Across our group of companies, efforts may include financial contributions, equipment, materials, services and expertise, work-in-kind, and volunteer support from our employees, allowing us to respond to the needs of communities as they emerge.

Our employees and community connections are an important part of this effort. If you know of an organization, individual, family or community initiative impacted by wildfires that may need assistance - or you're an EAG employee interested in volunteering - please contact Crystal Alseth at [email protected].

Our commitment extends beyond the immediate wildfire response. As communities move toward recovery and rebuilding, we'll continue looking for meaningful ways to help.

When our communities need support, we want to be there with our people, our resources and a willingness to help.

June 23rd is International Women in Engineering Day, and it is a day worth celebrating.

Across the Emil Anderson Group, women are leading projects, driving results, and shaping the future of infrastructure in British Columbia.

To every woman across EAG, thank you for what you bring to this work. Your expertise, your perspective, and your presence make us better.

To the next generation of women considering a career in engineering or construction, there is a place for you here. The work is meaningful, the impact is real, and the industry needs you.

Last week, our Bruhn Bridge team marked National Indigenous Peoples Day with an onsite BBQ on June 18th, 2026. A sincere thank you to the Splatsin community, Splatsin Development Corporation, the Ministry of Transportation and Transit, and our partner Aecon for celebrating with us.

Today, National Indigenous Peoples Day turns 30. Since 1996, June 21st has been a day to honour the cultures, histories, and contributions of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples across Canada. Thirty years in, that recognition matters just as much as ever.

At Emil Anderson, we are grateful for the relationships we have built with Indigenous communities across British Columbia. This work is meaningful to us, and we know that building together, with respect and intention, leads to better outcomes for everyone.

Happy National Indigenous Peoples Day.

June is National Indigenous History Month. A time to honour the rich history, heritage, and diversity of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across Canada. At Emil Anderson Group, we recognize the significance of this month and remain committed to building respectful, lasting relationships with the communities we are proud to work alongside.

We encourage our team and community to use this time to explore Indigenous stories, languages, traditions, and histories. There is always more to learn, and honouring Indigenous voices is a commitment that carries well beyond June. Join us in that journey.

What a week, Kelowna!

The 2026 Memorial Cup has come to a close, and what an incredible celebration of hockey, community, and connection it was. Emil Anderson Group was proud to be a sponsor of this tournament and even prouder to have shared the experience with so many great people.

A heartfelt thank you to Emil Anderson Properties, Dilworth Homes, Emil Anderson Maintenance, Emil Anderson Construction, and Gerry Enns Contracting for hosting at the EAG Chalet throughout the week. Your hospitality made every evening one to remember.

From the sold-out crowds at Prospera Place to the energy felt across every corner of the city, Kelowna showed up in a big way. Thank you to the fans, volunteers, players, and staff who made this Memorial Cup truly unforgettable. We were lucky to be part of it.

We're halfway through the 2026 Memorial Cup and the EAG Chalet is still going strong! Last night, the Emil Anderson Properties team brought together guests and partners for another great evening at Prospera Place. The Rockets may be out, but Kelowna's love for this tournament is as loud as ever, and we're proud to be part of it.
