Plant of the day #14:
Calathea roseopicta ‘Dottie’

Dark foliage really stands out and although it may look much like a Calathea medallion it has much richer dark green colours. Plus is really loves the added humidity being surrounded by other calatheas and a near by humidifier.

Plant of the day #13:
Philodendron bipinnatifidum “Selloum / Hope”

Happy 🪴
We have had this plant for over a year now and it still surprises me how beautifully easy this plant it. Each leaf is a little bigger then the last and with the fenestrations (slits) it really adds a jungle vibe. Plus it is adaptable to most lighting conditions 🌞 (medium/low - bright indirect).
If you can I recommend watching for this plant at your local plant store. Just let it dry partially between waterings. Just a head up, they can be space takers as the leaves really like to stretch out and shine

Plant of the day #12:
Ficus altissima

One of my current favourite ficus / fig plants. In brighter light the lime green edges really pop while the centre leaves remain more of a deep green. Like most of our fig trees, it is really enjoying the bright spot close to a window and grows all year. Can’t wait to have a towering monster! 🌳

Plant of the day #10:
Epipremnum aureum 'neon' “Neon Pothos”

Out of all the Pothos we have, this one sure stands out! Like most pothos, it’s very adaptable and will usually show you when it needs water with soft wilting leaves. Which is why it makes for such a great space filler 🪴If you have a spot, for example above a kitchen cabinet (that gets some sunlight), it brightens it up with it bright green foliage. Plus it’s super easy to propagate 💚

Plant of the day #7:
Asplenium nidus “Birds Nest Fern”

A very easy care plant as far as fern go I have found. Not a whole lot of light in this corner but it seems to thrive, as long as I keep the soil from drying out. It also seems to really benefit from my daily misting 🌿🚿

Plant of the day #5:
Maranta leuconeura var. kerchoveana (Rabbits Foot Prayer Plant)

A great plant for a dim corner 👌🏼. It also seems to love a daily misting for some added humidity for its thin beautiful leaves
