We have 8' Pine, Birch & Ash Firewood for Sale. Can be picked up in our yard at 2020 Highway 17 West, Keewatin. Hours for pickup are Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm. We will be open the next two Saturday's from 7am to 11am - November 20th & 27th.

Devlin Timber has an opening for a full-time Mechanic, to work in our new shop.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Regular maintenance on our 5 logging trucks and trailers, sand/plow truck, heavy equipment including backhoes, dozer and loaders which include: tire repairs, oil & filter changes, greasing etc.
Diagnose and preform accurate vehicle and equipment repairs under minimal supervision.
General Housekeeping tasks.
Requirements:
Licensed Truck & Coach Technician with some Heavy Duty Mechanical experience. If you do not have a license, we will consider a person with 4 to 8 years experience with large trucks & trailers and heavy equipment. Also welding, wiring & computer diagnosis would be an asset.
Must have a valid Driver's license for service calls.
Reliable, ability to work independently.
This job is Monday to Friday with some Saturday mornings. Wages will be based on experience and licenses held. Company benefit package including dental, healthcare, life insurance & long term disability.

We would just like to thank everyone for all the kind words these last couple of days. It has been a rough time but we are already planning on rebuilding our shop. We were lucky that we only lost one backhoe in the fire, so our bush operations will be able to continue as usual.
We would also like to send a special thank you to the following: Lou Mounk of Riverview Industries for calling 911 at 4am, Glen from Riverview for pulling all the vehicles away from the building, Fire Chief Todd Skene and his crew, the Ontario Provincial Police, Hydro One and Union Gas . As well as Andrew from Gillons Insurance for delivering us breakfast sandwiches and drinks, we were very hungry as we had been there since just after 4 am.
