Check out this awesome lakeside renovation! We blew an r40 in between the floor joists. We also protected the insulation underneath with Tyvek, leaving airspace around the waterlines for foam insulation. This helps to keep the waterlines from freezing.

CMR Insulation has finished work in a Toronto home much to the satisfaction of the client. This was a Batt & Poly insulation job which is one of the most cost-effective ways of insulating your home. When installed correctly, it is extremely energy efficient. Studies have shown that this type of insulation, when correctly installed, can reduce the amount of energy that is needed to cool or heat your home by as much as 50 percent.

In this house we did a hybrid system. The walls were done with closed cell spray foam, in the attic we used loose full blown insulation and for the cathedral we did B.I.B Insulation. This type of Hybrid Installation Method combines energy efficient spray foam with conventional insulation to create a lower cost alternative while providing occupant comfort throughout the home.

Drill and fill job at a rental house! This job was done in the separating floor of a rental house for thermal and acoustic qualities. We were able to test the sound and now the two apartments no longer share their day to day noise!

Before and after pics of a recent attic we worked on. This is a full renovation house, so we used soffit venting to maintain proper air flow. R-value protects our homes from heat loss in the winter, it also helps retain cool air in the summer. We added 18” of Climatizer Cellulose to achieve an R60 in this attic.

Building a new home? Or looking to upgrade your current home? This is another job we did for . This house was a renovation with an addition. The sloped ceiling was done at an R40. The original framing which was 2x4 needed the insulation updated, so we were able to make it an R14. In the newer sections of the house where it was 2x6 framing we insulated at an R24. The basement was done at an R20.

This is a horse barn we had the pleasure of working on! We had to put up venting, ceiling poly and blow the entire attic into an R40 to help bring up the temperature for winter. If you have a stable or barn that needs to be upgraded to stay warm during these cold days, don’t hesitate to give us a call! Check out this attic top up we did! This was a customer who had an improper insulation installation so they reached out to CMR Insulation Services. We did all the necessary fixings. Some spots were barely even reaching an R30 and we came in an made it and R60 all around.
