🐝 Why do wasps seem more interested in your food in September?

By late summer, wasp colonies are at their largest. Earlier in the season, worker wasps get much of their sugar from larvae inside the nest. As the season changes and fewer larvae remain, workers look elsewhere for a sweet snack.

That’s why you may notice more wasps around pop, juice, fruit, and outdoor meals. Keep drinks covered, clean up spills, and give any nest plenty of space.

Proof of what amazing moms they are and how they adapt and problem solve. Mom actually removed the rest of her kits on her own from the attic to the barn where the owners are allowing them to continue to flourish
