🙏🏼 A huge THANK YOU to our amazing customers, community, friends, and supporters!

As we continue through our busiest season, we want to sincerely thank everyone for their patience and understanding. Whether you’ve called, text, emailed, sent us a DM, stopped us in town, or reached out in person about a project — please know we see you, we appreciate you, and we’re working hard to connect with everyone as quickly as possible.

We’re currently working through estimates, scheduling, site visits, and inquiries, and while response times may be a little longer than usual, every message and request is important to us.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve both our returning customers and those choosing Johnston Electrical & Contracting for the very first time. The support our community continues to show us means more than words can express.

From the custom lighting to the accent wall details, built-ins, fireplace feature wall, and clean modern finish… this space came together beautifully. 👏🏼

A huge shout out to our electrical crew for helping bring this renovation to life and making every detail look top notch. Clean installs, attention to detail, and lighting that completely transforms the space. ⚡️

Huge shout out to CARSTAR Lindsay👏🏼

Holy jumpins — top notch service!

Where do we even start? From the very first phone call, to handling everything with the insurance company, a 5-day turnaround on repairs (was originally told it could be 12 days), and even a complimentary in-truck detail… the customer service was absolutely amazing from start to finish.

Picked up the truck this morning and we’re still blown away by the experience. It’s rare to come across service that smooth, professional, and genuinely customer focused these days.

Is this even the same truck?! 😍

Four years ago, we took a leap and built something from the ground up — and today, we’re proud to be celebrating 4 years of Johnston Electrical & Contracting.

What started as a small operation has grown into a full-service team offering electrical & general contracting — serving our amazing community across Kawartha Lakes and surrounding areas.

This journey hasn’t always been easy — long days, late nights, and learning curves along the way — but it’s been worth every minute.

Good morning north neighbours - Beaverton, Gamebridge, Brechin, Lagoon City, Orillia & Sebright.

We’re aware of the power issues in the area following yesterday’s Hydro One outage.

We have had a few calls with customers who have experienced;

• Tripped breakers
• Flickering lights
• GFCI/AFCI outlets not resetting
• Appliances not working properly

It may be a good idea to have your electrical system checked once power is fully restored.

We’ll be working in the area today and can stop by for a quick inspection to make sure everything is safe and operating properly.

Other days look like school drop-offs, snacks, and “mom, watch this!” about 47 times 😂

And most days? It’s a mix of both.
