🚧 PUBLIC NOTICE | RUFUS LAKE BOAT LAUNCH & DOCK CLOSURE 🚧

Nadeau Haulage & Excavation will be completing the replacement of the Rufus Lake boat launch and dock on behalf of the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources.

📍 Location: Rufus Lake, Fergus Road, Opasatika Township
📅 Closure Begins: Monday, October 19, 2026
⏳ Expected Duration: Up to 7 consecutive days

The project will include the removal of the existing dock, construction of a new permanent dock, and replacement of the existing wooden boat launch ramp with a new concrete ramp.

🚤 ALTERNATIVE BOAT LAUNCH ACCESS

During construction, the public may use the alternative boat launch located at the Bourinot Road Bridge.

For everyone’s safety, please respect all posted closures and remain clear of the construction area.

We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation as we work to improve this recreational access point.

The final official day of the 2026 golf season is Sunday, October 11. ⏳

🏌️ All golf clubs and privately owned power carts must be removed from storage by the end of the season.

❄️🚙 Winter power cart storage is available for $89 + HST.

⏰ Hours may continue to be adjusted as we move deeper into fall and daylight becomes more limited.
