Crushing operations are wrapping up in as Dawson Construction prepares to move into paving on . The work covers 81.7 lane kilometres of asphalt resurfacing between the CN Junction and Rayleigh, and at Inks Lake Hill.

Paving is scheduled to begin mid-to-late July 2026.

There's nothing quite like fresh asphalt on a highway.

Dawson Construction crews are paving through Lac La Hache this summer as part of a major resurfacing program across the South Cariboo.

Completion is expected in August 2026.
