We are proud of our crew who has been working hard to reopen . We are happy to say the highway is now open in the Cameron Lake area following a closure due to wildfires.

Crews have installed safety measures to allow the roadway to reopen with a temporary concrete barrier wall and protective mesh curtains. They are designed to prevent falling rocks and trees from tumbling into the path of motorists.

Thank you to Andi Buechi with Geobrugg for quickly delivering your innovative design of the suspended mesh system and barrier fencing.

Thank you to International Steel Fabrication Inc. for your quick delivery of some integral components for this project.

Thank you to Gorosh Cranes Ltd. and RKM Crane Services for the quick mobilization of your cranes to site.

Kudos to Main Road and to BC Transportation and Infrastructure for quickly and safely coordinating the work to get this project done.

While some of our guys are busy on reopening Highway 4 we still have a crew working in Summerland on Highway 97 to try to get the highway back to regular capacity after the recent landslide.

Our crew has been working hard to reopen Highway 4 on Vancouver Island after the Cameron Lake Fire shut down the Highway a few weeks ago. We are working hard to get the Highway back open as soon as possible!
