We’re incredibly excited to share that MXS Electric Inc. is a 2026 finalist for the Excellence in Trades Award, presented through the Kamloops Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards!

Being recognized alongside the other incredible finalists within the trades community is a huge honour. We’ve worked hard over the past few years to grow MXS, take on bigger challenges, and continue raising the bar for quality electrical work in the Kamloops area.

A huge thank you to our employees, friends and family, clients, contractors, suppliers, and community partners who have supported us along the way. We truly couldn't do it without you.

We’re proud of how far MXS has come and even more excited about where we’re going.

We look forward to the coming interviews and the Masquerade gala in October!

MXS is now officially a Registered Civil Contractor with BC Hydro, as well as a BC Hydro Alliance of Energy Professionals Partner!

Becoming a Registered Civil Contractor allows us to take on the civil portion of BC Hydro electrical service infrastructure. Including underground ducting, service trenches and other civil work associated with new and upgraded electrical services.

Combined with our electrical capabilities, this means we can now provide our customers and project partners with a more complete solution, coordinating both the electrical and BC Hydro civil portions of a project under one roof.

Becoming a BC Hydro Alliance Partner is another step toward strengthening our relationship with BC Hydro and continuing to expand the commercial and industrial services we can offer throughout Kamloops and the surrounding area.

It’s been pretty exciting watching MXS continue to grow into something bigger than we originally imagined.

Onward and upward. ⚡
