💧 MYTH MONDAY: “Slow leaks aren’t urgent.”

A slow leak may not feel like an emergency, but it is still doing damage every single day.

That steady drip can lead to higher water bills, mould, damaged cabinets, stained ceilings and rotting materials behind walls or under floors. By the time you can clearly see the damage, the repair may be much bigger than fixing the original leak.

Myth Monday - “If Google says the DIY fix works, you don’t need a plumber.”

Can you fix some plumbing problems yourself? Absolutely.

Should you? That depends on whether you actually know what’s causing the problem, what’s behind the wall, and what happens if the “easy fix” goes sideways.

Sometimes DIY saves you a service call. Sometimes it turns a small leak into a much bigger bill.

The real question isn’t always can you? It’s should you?

⭐ 5 STAR REVIEW ⭐

"I am writing this review on behalf of Century Glass. We were having issues with a urinal and had different companies come it to take a look and fix but the issues never stopped.

I call Highmark and Clint was able to stop by the same day to take a look and provided us with a quote. Ryan was at the shop the next morning to fix the issues. He has able to clear the pipes further than other companies had been able to in past, and replaced parts that were in need of replacing. Ryan took the time to ensure the urinal was working properly and let us know what he had done before he left. Jane in the office was also a delight to deal with! We will definitely use Highmark Plumbing in the future and will also recommend them to others.

🚫 MYTH MONDAY: A sump pump is only needed during heavy rain.

Heavy rain may keep it busy, but that’s not the only time water can find its way into your basement. Rising groundwater, poor drainage, plumbing leaks, and a high water table can all cause trouble.
